I've come to difficult realization that I don't make enough money to race motorcycles, despite the fact that I love it. So I'm listing my race bike for sale.
Background:
I bought this bike brand new from Marin Cycleworks in 2007. I rode it on weekends for a few years and then converted it to a track only bike in 2010. The original color was the blue/black. I lowsided it once into some dirt at about 15mph back in 2008. The only damage the bike suffered was some cracks to the OEM bodywork and a scuff on the left side case (see picture).
The engine is original and completely stock with 5,401 miles (won't be changing any time soon). The bike also has some decent farkles, yet keeps in legal for Production classes in AFM.
I bought the bodywork used from another BARF member several years ago and it has been crashed (before I purchased it). I painted the bodywork with a bit of prep work, tape, and rattle cans. Overall, the bodywork looks pretty decent.
The bike has been through probably 15 track days and 2 AFM race weekends.
PRICE: $5,000/bo with obligatory 1% to teh BARFs. I'm located in Brentwood/Antioch area.

- The black wheels that came with the bike have OEM rotors. BRAND NEW Michelin Power Cup rear mounted. Front is also Power Cup with 2 races on it.
- The blue wheels have BRAND NEW (not even bedded) Braking wave rotors. BRAND NEW Michelin Power Cups mounted.
- BRAND NEW Driven rear 45 tooth (+2) rear sprocket in 520 pitch
- BRAND NEW Driven front 15 tooth (-1) front sprocket in 520 pitch
- BRAND NEW Driven 520 chain
- Vesrah front pads
- GPR steering stabilizer
- Sharkskinz bodywork (I will include a complete spare set of bodywork)

- Bike is safety wired and prepped for AFM. Never had an issue getting through tech.
- Clean title in my name and registered as non-op. Could be made streetable with the right parts, but I have none of them.
