how do you sign up for friday mc open track afm only.

You just show up and pay in the office at the front gate.

^^^that. You just head over to the front gate area on Friday morning, pay for your spot, they give you a tech slip, and then you run over to tech (usually handled by the Pirelli tent), get your stickers and then go ride.

Groups are based on your practice group (ish).

So it’s not an open track test day? Was under the impression there would be no group and you could test bike as much as needed. Guess I was wrong. Thanks for then info.

They break it up similar to a track day. Usually more by bike than rider. Being a racer is a requirement for that day, although I’ve never had them actually verify. There is tech as previously mentioned, and a short meeting. They offer full day and half day, which starts around 1 if I remember correctly.

The Friday practice is a great value. All racers, 3 groups (Fast, Faster and Fastest) that are all underrepresented. It's pretty chill/
