Really want to pick up an xr100 and train flat track. Are there any tracks regularly open that accomadates FT for minis? Not interested in Supermoto as I already have a 450 for that.

Pretty sure there isn't anything in the Bay Area anymore that is open to the public. Prairie City has a dirt track but I've been out of the loop since club moto got rid of their dirt track years ago.

I believe Diablo MX Ranch has a flat track in the works... might want to give them a call. Prairie City is another option, as Dan mentioned above.

Hollister is supposed to have a small TT track, I haven't seen it myself. Most other opportunities are in the Central Valley, such as Prairie City, Lodi, etc.

I did Feel Like a Pro Dirt at Prairie City last summer. That was some of the most fun I've had on 2 wheels! http://www.feellikeaprodirt.com/

I haven't been to Hollister hills for several years but they used to have a fun TT track that my daughter and I played on many times!

I have been thinking about getting into speedway racing for awhile now. I know Auburn has Fast Fridays, not sure about true flat track course though.

Should've rephrashed my original statement to Northern California instead of Bay Area :laughing. Seems that diablo MX place is the old sand hill. Use to be some big turn outs for those mini TT events. Would be cool for them to bring that back. Before I pull the trigger on buying a 100 just want to seek out all my options for tracks out there...

Is Merced too far?

I have a small flat track (125 meters around) in my back yard...
