Anyone know if they’re going to separate the 400 from the 300? If not the 300 just going to get creamed.

From how it's described it sounds like it will be a single championship with a mixed grid of 300s and 400s.

Yes the 400 is a bit disruptive to the classing, but if I were FLAP and sponsoring the class I wouldn't want to exclude the new flagship bike from competing.
Still, I'd bet good money that a 400 takes the championship this year.

CLASS CHANGES

FORMULA PACIFIC
The “black flag for being lapped” rule has been taken out, meaning riders will no longer be black flagged if they are about to be lapped by the leaders. There will still be the minimum lap time requirement to enter the class and it must be met during the Formula Pacific qualifying session (the lap time requirements have not changed). The Formula Pacific class now reads:

A class for the fastest riders. At Sonoma, riders must achieve a lap time of 1:47; at Thunderhill, 1:59; at Buttonwillow, 1:56 (1:59 counter-clockwise); during the Formula Pacific qualifying session to enter. If a rider fails to post a flying lap during the qualifying session, a race official must give approval for the rider to enter the race. This class is for experts only.
