Suppose to come out in 2019 according to website along with the non-GT Tracer. Yeah i agree with the handling I rode a MT-07 one year and a MT-09 Tracer the next and you can't throw a MT-09 Tracer around like you can a MT-07. You really had to wrestle the bike around on the tight stuff. I wish they would bring the MT-07 Tracer to the states. I think it's a good compromise.

That's a FZ-09 though...

Yes, there's that! :rofl Plus the guy weighs 250 lbs. and wonders why the FZ feels "soft" :rofl and wallows at speed! :rofl

The FJR13 is clearly set up for TWO and able to carry 50 lbs. of luggage as well. The FZ is set up for a 165 lb. rider and not set up for pillion or much luggage. Apples and Oranges in that context.

As most know, Yamaha up graded the suspension on the FJ-09 and I believe may have added some adjustments not seen on FZ-09.

I have an 06 that i love - I'm 6'4 and Im ok with the lack of leg room. Highway pegs can really help that.
The Corbin seat is worthless, I went OEM - everyone is different though, so keep that in mind.
The post Fz09 Vs FJR up the page a big is by a guy named Brian that makes youtube videos of the tweaks and maintenance how-tos ... hes really knowledgeable with them and i learned alot from his videos.
I LOVE the bike - I bought it with 8k on it 2 years ago in October .... It has a tick of 30k now and rain or shine it goes out when I want it to.

Im not a real brave rider, I havent scraped hard parts yet - I have caught my boot toe in a curve once (yeah I worked on my foot placement after it scared the hell out of me) ...

It's a forgiving bike, really reliable, minimal maintenance. It does like tires, since i went with the Michelle PR4 GT I get about 10k miles out before I hit wear bars though. Have heard great things about roadsmarts also on these.

Only thing I did to mine was K and N filter and two brothers exhaust (craigslist deal couldnt pass up or it'd still be stock).
