EU solo trip destination ideas - Oct 2019

Nervous about a possible flood of ideas that I can't decide on, but......

Already been to Sicily, Rome and Paris so please only suggest new locations. Thinking of Berlin because I've been watching Man in the High Castle :laughing, and also heard that it's very orderly........and I like sauerkraut

CRITERIA:
-good bang for the buck (please refrain from hooker jokes...or not)
-transit system doesn't look like 6lbs of yarn on a 3'x3' map (thanks a lot, Paris :mad)
-get by with just a few words of the destination's local language
-rich in historic locations (not museums that cost $$$)

All of my previous EU travel has been with a girl, but I'm now traveling without a leash

I just got back from Berlin.
I'll have to look up the info but I bought a ticket that covered bus and train throughout the city for the full duration, unlimited. I could also use the ticket to get discounts on the museum, zoo, and a few other places.

- I thought it was pretty cheap but I think every place is pretty cheap (besides Vegas) because I am not into fashion, lol.
- Transit system was pretty easy to follow
- I heard more English than German walking through the streets.
- Berlin has a ton of historical monuments/landmarks. I thought the German Museum of Technology was dope though and the price was good.

"and I like sauerkraut" those days are long gone. Doner is the current country dish lol.
