I know this will probably bruise a lot of egos, but these kids are both TEN YEARS OLD!!! :wow :wow :wow

I was absolutely blown away by how talented these kids are! How would I know? Because we FILMED THEM ON TRACK! Now that there's a Thread posted I'll have to post some sample video clips so we can all see how impressive they really are!

Great job Elena & Cameron!

It was fun working with them yesterday, I wish I could have spent more time with them as I was laughing in my helmet most of the day while playing with them. I got a couple shots of Elena's last couple laps. Here's one from T12.

Here's a shot of Cameron with Dan Jones going over the track map after we got off the track from his second session on the 125. Not only were these two going really really well, but they paid attention to the instruction they were getting during the day. I was going to go out on track and get some action shots but I was having too much fun with them on the track.
Congrats to both of them on a great day!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention one other very important person and that would be Craig Sanders (a.k.a flying weasel racing) for his help and support. Craig has been a big help to Elena as well as the SMRRC for his part in promoting the club and her in the Cental Valley. His approach was a very kind and understanding one and I know both the kids really appreciated it. Thanks again Craig.

Matt bring them up to Fri - 11/19 Zoom zoom Trackday at T.Hill. Can't beat the price of admission for BARFers: $165.

Zoom Zoom's insurance won't let unage riders on the track. Thanks to the Keigwins for giving Elana, Cameron, & Bobby a chance.... to smoke the older folks. :smoking

What times was Bobby getting?

Whoa... read that enough times and it sounds Hick-ish.

Thanks for all the cool compliments about Elena everyone. We really had an awesome time and I think it may be time to re-evaluate next season a little as far as what monies will be spent on what.

Anyway, back to the quote. Bobby was running in the 2:08 range in his third or fourth session on an R6 (with 2 year old hard as a rock tires and suspension that was not quite up to snuff) when he low sided coming out of the 12/13 switch back. He was unhurt but the bike was a little rough and was not able to be fixed to continue. A real shame as he was just getting his wings. With fresh rubber and dialed suspension I expect on his next Thunder Hill outing that he'll be hovering around 2:00 minutes flat or better. All you AFM'ers betteer look out as he'll be knocking at you back door real soon

Go Bobby!!!!!!:teeth
