I'm a new member and I'm glad to have come across this thread. Genuine acts of kindness are great but the generosity shown here was incredible. I'm entirely new to the motorcycle community, I still have to take my class, take the written exam, and get a bike. Reading about Jon's journey has given me an appreciation for this community and a new outlook on my entry to the riding world. I didn't know Jon, may he rest in piece, he sounds like an awesome person.

I saw that mentioned elsewhere (Reddit maybe?) and remembered this amazing thread. What a great guy and what a great community of riders to help him realize so much of his dream. RIP

RIP, I remember when I read the original post. I thought what a great attitude on life. It is a journey and not a destination.

I have been following this post for awhile now, and somehow the reality doesn't really hit until you hear it. Very sad. Condolences to his friends and family. Rest in peace Jonathon:rose

What a way to go out of this crazy world. Inspired me to try to work less, enjoy people/life more. Thank you Jonathan. Your words/story have given "life" to myself and others I'm sure.

I'm so happy he had a chance to ride so many of the tracks he did... and so sad that he lost his incredibly valiant fight against cancer...

Re-reading this thread is so inspiring to me in my own struggles... I'd like to think of each of us who've been following his adventures going forward, continuing his battle in our own lives, remembering his fierce will to squeeze every last drop of living from life, and following his example...

My heart goes out to his family and friends. What a terrible loss. :rose

No doubt Connie.

He showed great bravery. The man lived the way most of us would want. Several BARFER's stepped up to support him. He lived at a higher level because of this community and his devotion to life. That is awesome. :thumbup

Amazing really.

Personally I would have liked to share in his last challenges. We did not. That was his call. Respect demands we understand his wishes. As it should be.

He came here on a mission. He successfully did what he intended. My full respect is given. :applause

An Amazing life story. So happy we shared in that.

All of you that had the honor personally touching his life.... God bless you. I would assume your life is richer because of it.

So sad we lost this amazing soul.
