The DOJ would like name/info from Apple/Google of users who downloaded thi app.

Saw this this morning as well, quite a fair bit of over reach.

They're apparently looking into illegal export of the Obsidian 4, and want the data to see who may have them overseas.

As far as I'm concerned, tough fucking luck, no data for you DOJ. Time to get back to the table and figure out who these folks are another way.

I'd bet there will be some sort of deal where they may offer up data for folks from certain locations. But I doubt that would go over well in any EU countries.

I can't imagine Google and Apple putting up much resistance since they're not very 2A friendly to begin with.
