Does anyone run Streets of Willow or Horsethief Mile?

I'm on an SV650 so the big high-speed track of Big Willow doesn't interest me that much. Streets of Willow or the Horse Thief Mile both look like a lot of fun, but I can't seem to find a single org that does a trackday for it.

Is there a reason for this?

Lets Ride has a streets day 9/28. The last time I rode horse thief was when they raced supper moto there years ago.

Total Control does track clinics on Horse Thief mile.

There is another organization that has a track day there on Sep 20. I am thinking about going.

Apparently, Willow Springs' website is down. Their event calendar lists all their events and usually lists the event provider's contact info.

The SV is fine for the big track. Ringing it out and hitting the speeds on the big track will make other tracks more comfortable.

I rode it on an RZ 350 and had a blast. Bigger bikes too but 2/3 of the track is small bike friendly.

Enjoy whatever you do! :ride

I've run both Willow tracks with an SV. Do it, it's fun. Streets would be more fun, it's a tight little track with some great flow.

Yes, Letsride will typically go to Streets once or twice a year it seems. I believe Bradywalker.com also will be there 11/1 (https://www.bradywalker.com/copy-of-oct-27-2019-ctd-spooktracul)

I think you'd be surprised at how much fun even the faster tracks are on slower bikes.. I've taken the R3 to all the socal tracks and had no issues. I think the only track I didn't enjoy much was the buttonwillow layout where they had that massive back straight and maybe Fontana.
