Thanks G...!

I am trying to figure out the little spot in Ojai that we hit up.
It was small with a big patio and a cool little spot right downtown.

Come on brain!!

No. I looked a Google maps. It is on the main drag east of 33 on the right hand side. It has a weird name as I recall. I know it is in the Taft rally thread. I will find it.

There's a good BBQ place and also a good breakfast place in Ojai. Let me see if I can find them too.

Oh, and when this thread slows down, I'll make a GPX file for anyone to download for their riding pleasure.

If it's the same spot I'm thinking of with a sweet manager with a slight french accent and a menu boasting mushroom coffee and avocado toast, then it was dubbed Food Harmonics. I had to check my bank statement to recall that generic title.

I went in feeling like I could have had eggs and bacon, but I was pleased with the healthy, made to order offerings.

The manager warned me not to expect "regular" coffee.
Once I'd had a bit, she asked, "How is it?"
I said, "It's gentle."
She smiled and said, "That's the right word."
Then, the younger prep cook behind the counter held up a jar and asked,
"Is this the regular amount of Ghee that comes in this jar?"
I was impressed.

Holy smokes, 33 through Los Padres Nat'l Forest down into Ojai and then Hudson Ranch Road from Frazier Park blew my mind. I went around the time snow had just hit and Cerro Noroeste was gated...

In Bandon, Oregon, I like Tony's Crab shack, if I'm riding though. If I want table-service sit down place, I like the Wheelhouse.

The Taqueria in the corner gas station, in Pescadero, has good food. (across from Duarte's) It's open currently.

I LOVE this thread. Love the spirit of it, and also have found some new day ride destinations, for sure. Thank you. I'm making an iPhone note from Budman's OP.

Many of my most regular stops have been called out already (Duarte's, The Junction, Bovine Bakery, and the Marshall Store). But I'll add a few other favorites worth a destination ride, or at least a stop.

Bay Area-ish:
