Bike sacrificial...
Except a bunch of crazy car drivers out for a Sunday hunt. Full size Ford won't let us pass on Stage RD and swerved into the passing lane whenever attemp was made.

Yeah was a lot of fun...
Except I got my ass handed to me... :shhh
Rich and Dev have so much fooking torque going on that every time we got out of the turns... :later Had to remove my mirrors to catch up between the turns :teeth
Looks like I need to get some carb and exhaust going... on a new Bike... :teeth If my wife allows me to :shhh
Gonna go XR650R next spring :teeth wheeeeeee :p

Hope we can do this again soon... But hey Dev... Let’s keep this @ a human time :zzz

you still had fun right? that's all that counts:teeth

Ohh Yeah... Totally fun... I'm just kidding around... I'm old enough to drive my own speed and if I can't keep up because I don't feel comfortable driving that fast I wont feel bad... :teeth Or if someone is faster then I'm simply because of the skill level I'll watch and learn... And then I'll beat you :p

Don't worry...the most fun was that all of us drove responsible and no one tried to prove something... :cool

But make no misstake... Next spring I'm not gonna let you of the hook that easy :p

Once I replaced my old Lady with something newer and stronger...:teeth

XR650L uncorked?

Andy,
What year is your XR-L? Is it uncorked? What I mean, is the restrictive emissions crap taken off? On the XR650R the bike comes from the factory "corked" in order to meet emissions requirments and get a green sticker. The XR-L is probably the same way. There is a website for uncorking the R version, and it might be usefull for the L.

Check out: http://www.xr650r.net/

If your bike is uncorked, disregard this. :laughing

uncorked

Well it’s uncorked a bit... but not all the way... If someone has the info to do it ALL the way and specially the right way... get it to me.
All I did is rejeted the carb to 156, removed a few junk parts in the Airbox and the exhaust is less resident to the fumes :shhh
But I believe there is still some room for improvement... I still have the Air pump and all the other emission crap on the Bike...

If one is interested... We could do an SM WorkShop once in a while @ my place... I got all the tools, a garage, a fridge for cold soda and a BBQ to make it fun :teeth

Well this applies to the R... Dunno if this also applies to the L... Going to a 175 main jet seems a bit harsh on the L. I noticed once I go over 156 it seems to run worse... but might be related to the other emission sh$t I still have on the Bike...
I'll run by Road Rider tonight to see if they have the kit to remove the airpump :teeth
