Question, will I get a renewal reminder to keep the service?

Mad

Oh, yes! Sometimes they even call you weeks before the due date, and ask if you want to have it all set up, credit card number, etc, and then they charge you right there, on the call, weeks in advance. Yeah, you'll get a reminder.

It's an awesome programme and service. I'm lucky to not had a reason to use it. New billing department, though, it's far different than the old Calstar.

(Yes, that's friendly feedback.)

Hi Tracy, is coverage provided while participating in racing or track day events? Do you service Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Sonoma Raceway? Thanks.

The Airmedcare Network program covers any member flown by an Airmedcare Network helicopter. They have bases nearby* all the places you mentioned (and more), but there is no guarantee they will be the one flying the patient. The closest available airship is dispatched by the EMS system, so that's who goes (regardless of brand).

Membership is a financial product that performs after the incident.

Does that answer your question Rick?

*visit their website for a map- still no guarantees they are closest available at the time of the call

Hi RVRick,

Yes we do have coverage for these areas. NorCalBusa is correct with his answer. Calstar will sometimes even be stationed at event in case of emergencies. Becoming a Member of our life saving operations, gives you coverage in 38 states for our Emergent Program, and covers in 48 states for our, Fly U Home Program. Membership can save you thousands of dollars when medical emergency airlifts occur. Also, covers everyone in you household. If you have any questions you can always contact me directly.

Happy Riding!!!

Tracy, does that mean that if another carrier flies you for a medical emergency, this coverage doesn't pay? So it's kind of 'luck of the draw'?
I am a subscriber, and just want some more clarification.
Thank you.

Correct, the aircraft has to be in the AirMedCareNetwork.
