Bridgestone T30 Evo

Anyone else running the T30 Evos?

I just had KC Engineering spoon a set of T30 Evos on my '13 Speed Triple.

I"ve run Michelin Pilot Roads (generations 2, 3 and 4) for years and years, but I've liked them less and less. In my experience the 4's feel good for 5,000 miles, then start to feel less stable under braking and squirmy in turns.

So far the Bridgestones steer a little heavy, but they're stable.

I liked them on my stroms. They turn in okay. My main complaint is that they go from feeling OK to "holy mother of God, please take these horrid carcasses off" pretty quickly. At least that was the case a few years back. I would roast them in 2500 miles on my little DL650, so there was that.

Allegedly they have improved them but my last few rears ended up either being horribly punctured before I could get to that point OR I sold/crashed the bike they were on before getting to that point.

I have them on my GSXR600. Have about 2500 miles of varied riding on them and they look to have about 75% of the tread left. Bike does steer heavy but no grip issues unless I'm really pushing it. I'll probably change them out to a more sport oriented tire next summer. They just don't quite feel right compared to other tires I've used over the years.

I loved the T30's. Pretty much hate the EVOs. Not sure what they did to the profile on the EVO but they last longer and have strange handling characteristics.
