I know “Best” is subjective and can be defined differently. Let’s settle for defining “Best” in terms of balance between acceleration, braking, corner stability, traction, etc.... What bike could anyone get on and be competitive. Manufacturers discussion only. Not Factory vs Satellite.

It’s still early in the season and developments will obviously be made. It will be interesting to see how the initial poll goes followed by final results of the Manufacture’s Championship.

Vote fellow Couch Race nerdz!

As much as it pains me by not being able to say Yamaha, I have to admit the KTM may be the best 2020 bike.

From the moment the KTM appeared in the paddock I've always thought they'd do well. I think this 2020 RC16 may be championship material and it's just held back by it's riders.
It looks like it is friendly to ride like a Yamaha or Suzuki, it has power between the Ducati and HRC bike, and it works well with these Michelin tires.

My 2020 bike rankings are:
KTM (Best Overall + Best V bike)
Suzuki (Best Inline bike)
Yamaha (Friendliest rider bike, but low on power and reliability in 2020)
Ducati (Cheater motor, but lacks agility and not good with 2020 Michelin)
HRC (Least friendly rider's bike)
Aprilia (Least power and reliability, but has agility like Yamaha and Suzuki)

1/4 will win da ship, i think the m1 is best, lookat topgun and morebidelli. It is just lacking top speed, but acceleration is there, braking stability is not, but corner speed is still there

oh and did 41 year old rossi podium on it this year

yea he did, huge **** next to the race though

Whatever that means
The KTMs are looking good to me. The Suzuki's are a close second, they need a little more grunt though. I think Suzuki needs a satellite team, maybe the aventina team can switch to Suzuki's. Do we need 3 Ducati teams? Maybe aprilla could use a year off to spend on R&D. I really don't want them to pull out. Really want to see Kawasaki come back

Honda HRC machines are the competition's reference point...

KTM is looking good, but it is still early.

Love the fact that KTM is competitive!! Fuck yeah.

If the Suzuki had to balls it would be the winner, but it need the hairs waxed to it can keep up with the Duc and KTM.

Honda.. well it does not matter because nobody except MM can make it work yet.

Yamaha.. man I love Yamaha.. step up the fricking tuning fork and make it work better. Still a fine ass bike.

The lol... ? Hope it keeps getting better. :laughing

I'm just thrilled to see more manufacturers in the race, for sure. KTM is doing wonderfully.

How long before HRC rats out KTM for cheater bike? No doubt HRC is twisted up trying to figure out how KTM has done a 180 in the offseason.

KTM's unorthodox steel frame would twist itself in knots coping with the level of power of HRC machines...

KTM's engineers hands are tied to the companies steel product line... like don't get caught sketching aluminum frame ideas...

I’m not so sure that the KTM is that far behind the Duc and Honda on HP. It was able to motor with the Duc last weekend.

Don’t you think the talent on the team has anything to do with that?

The bike is good enough to be run at podium pace by 4 different riders. It’s not the riders hiding the faults like Honda, it’s the riders highlighting its strengths

If it had a couple more beans under the hood it would be the best hands down... same applies to Suzuki in my opinion.

Hope you're right because I'm a Yamaha fan.
Gotta say that after today it's increasing my doubts. Power down everywhere and now braking issues?
