BARF Pool League needs new players

Shit looks like you were at pig and whistle tonight too. I stopped in but nobody was there. Which was odd. I'm next door playing pool though.

Yeah. It looked like a normal night there. No trivia business. Ended up grabbing dinner and a few beers before bouncing. The pool hall next door looked pretty cool. I'll have to stop by there some other time.

Well normally folks are there by 730 or 8. Honestly I'm not sure what happened tonight. The table in the front is normally reserved for us and it wasnt this time.

Why did this get banished to non moto activities? This is a pool team consisting of barf members. I don't see how it is any less moto related than dinner and a movie, food drives, or the SF meet ups.

Nah it started in the kitchen sink. I asked for it to be moved to social gatherings to get more eyes on it (and it worked).

I understand it isn't really scheduled besides being every Thursday. You can leave it here I suppose if Social Gatherings is no good.

Man, that sounds like fun. I don't know if I can spend 5+ hours on a weeknight playing though, but I work in the city so it'd be easy to get to...

Well to be fair you only play part of that time. A match between two players usually lasts anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes with rare exceptions. The rest of the time you are just hanging out, good natured shit talking (within our own team of course, unless we know the other team well), and of course rare words of encouragement.:laughing We usually get food, bullshit, have a few beers etc.

You of course don't have to stay if you have things that need to be done, but that said it is nice to spread out the scoring duties and some other things and generally have some support for players that play later matches.

This season is almost over but the next one is always around the corner. Let me know if you want to stop by sometime and check out a match and meet some of us :thumbup

Another plug for this pool league and team. I had a really great time, good group of guys. Very laid back and I guess we still need one more sucker, er I mean player to join the team. I promise I won't let them use the goat to haze you again.
