I like to vote for the girl with the best hooters on barf. I forget her name but I've seen her out and about and at times posting on here. She's a friend of a friend and anytime I've met her it made my day.
I believe her avatar is also her. I won't say more than that. But I just want her to know that barf is a richer place for having her :love
My Hero :cool

Ima nominate SFCootz... she pulled a metric shit-ton of strings and favors to get me a new pair of race boots- nice ones!! In addition, she's driving all the way up to Willows to be my Pit Monkey tomorrow... when the temp is supposed to reach at least 103°!! Not to mention all the rescues she's done... she's not just a hero, she's an Angel.

This Forum is chock-full of Win and Awesome... who knew the Bay Area had such a high concentration of truly fantastic people???? :)

Also, one more vote for Wendizzle... the MOST dedicated AFM fan EVAR!! Even the announcers are looking for her and her floppy hat in the stands... they were perturbed they couldn't see the hat last round!!

Spec-Ecu, RickM, purposeinlife and LunchBox for their above and beyond in the "I'm dying of cancer but I have A dream " thread and Shouldn'thave, for helping me check off something on my bucket list.
You guys are heroes, but not just for one day.:cool

Holiday Bump for the heroes.

If anyone doesn't know the huge efforts that F4ichic makes so regularly that she probably doesn't even recognize them as efforts I am here to tell you. Fiduciary responsibilities for a lot of good will are generally handled by Wendy. Not to mention how many lives she has saved through her tireless efforts with local animal shelters and rescues.

My BARF hero is without a doubt Nemo Brinker. When I got my MRI results back and had to go back to non-ambulatory, I made a thread on BARF asking around for a used knee scooter. She immediately offered hers, didn't charge a cent, and asked that I pay the sweet ride forward when I finally recover.

Class act all around, and one of the reasons why I love this place. :love

The Hero of Dogs!!!!

I want to reignite this very important thread to nominate
JDHU as a true BARF hero!

Jimy has singlehandedly saved thousands of Dogs lives by rewriting animal shelter policy and by fighting for truth, justice and most of all, the Dogs!

JDHU , re ruv roo!!!:party:party:party

BARF is the best people in the world I tell ya!

When BARF rises to the occasion, they can change the world!:party:party
I'll have Hooli post up a few pics of two dogs that Jimy helped get rescued at the 11th and 7/8 hour. If it wasn't for his "dogged " assistance, these dogs would be in the county landfill right now.
We lost Marsh, but thanks to Jimy these two great dogs are smelling fresh air and hopefully , will find new Guadiana soon!
