I did the same thing several years ago, took a 20 year break then went out and bought a new Hayabusa. The salesman asked me if I’d ridden big bikes before. I said “sure”. Boy was I nervous going home on that thing.

Wow, jumping straight on one of those sounds a little too ballsy for me. In my 20's I had 91 Ninja 650, when I found an 09 I figured I lived through owning one in my 20s, I am looking for a repeat of that in my 40s!
