Anyone using the Pit Bull Trailer Restraint System?

I am setting up a Kendon single rail trailer to haul my S1000XR to Texas. Have been thinking about the Pit Bull Trailer Restraint System. Looks good but $300 compared to just using straps is a lot. But I am looking at 1800 miles each way.

What says anyone using the TRS?

Great system if you use it enough. Doing trackdays and stuff where you're loading and unloading bikes alot makes it great. Using Chock + Straps is fine but gets annoying especially when you're trying to load multiple bikes and you have a spiderweb of tie downs. :laughing
I have been using the system for about 9 years and love it. Also there is no chance the bike falls because of straps breaking or loosening on accident.

For one trip? Yeah, use 4 good straps and move on out. Make sure the strap hooks are the capturing type so they won’t come loose if the strap slackens.

The TRS comes into its own when you load and unload a lot, and especially if you do it alone.

I have a TRS setup in both my box van and my trailer. THey are awesome, and I wouldn't equip a hauler with anything else.

The only down side is if you don't have the right pins, it gets sketchy. Not a big deal if you're always hauling the same bikes.
