Due to the recent rash of stolen bikes, Factory Spec Cycle will be offering diffrent levels of alarm systems to suit your sport bike security needs. While most of us have garages or secured parking, there will be a time and place when you will not have your eyes on your bike, so why not have it tethered electronically with a two way paging system to compliment your disc lock, or chain? Give Factory Spec Cycle a call or email if you have any questions about the security of your vehicle, we will be glad to answer all of your questions. To thank BARF members for all your support through the various projects, all members get an additional 10$ off standard pricing. This discount is good for every service offered as well as accessories and helmets. We hope to hear from you or see you soon!

I had a chatter box alram on my Falco, but the guys at Scuderia could not get the ignition kill switch to work.

What other alarms do you guys offer? And how much for the install?

got a gorilla and its OK. just wanted a little something to ward them off. No matter what alarm you guys get, they're gonna get it if they want it enough. You can spend a grip, which I opted not to, or you can just get something to annoy them. Scorpion alarms are pretty good, my friends got one and no probs. Does the same as my gorilla, except his telt sensor works better. difference between 59 bucks and 400 I guess.:teeth

An alarm is just a deterent people, not an fool-proof anti-theft system. Granted there are systems that can track a vehicle once it has been stolen, but thats not really "anti-theft" is it? the vehicle has been stolen already hence the need to track it. a bike alarm is just like a car alarm. If there is no one around when it goes off, then you've done nothing but made alot of noise. Alarm systems work best for people who do not have secured parking like residents that live in apt complexes with carports, and SF residences who park on the street.

I carry the DEI Viper 200 alarm system, along with the avital Bike Keeper. Prices start from $279.99 installed to ??. You can pretty much add any option you want to the viper where as the bike keeper is a basic alarm. All alarm systems comes with a single stage motion detector that will detect movement too close to your vehicle. Cant have a nice quiet get away if you cant touch the bike, right. I can order and install the scorpio alarm if you like but you will be paying full retail on these units so if this is your prefrence, you can purchase the alarm and then bring it to me for installation or i can purchase it for you and install it once it arrives. Take a look at our Alarms page located on the products page of www.factory-spec.com page for more information on which alarm systems we carry, and which features are capatible with the selected systems. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us either through email, or directly at 510-658-2782
