48mm seal driver

Cycle gear said they had some in stock, they did not. anybody around the surrounding Vacaville area have a 48 mm seal driver I could possibly just borrow for a minute, gorgeous day out like to go play around a little bit on my 09 KTM 690 SMC all I have is a 46/47 mm driver. Thanks

Go to a hardware store and buy a PVC T joint of the approximate inner diameter. Cut it in half with a hacksaw, place it on the fork leg and hit the T part with a hammer.

that's where I was headed to do the Pvc trick until a buddy barf member had a driver for me to borrow

use the old seal. leave it on the stanchion, drive the new seal in, then cut it off.

leave the old seal on, wrap a bunch of duct tape around the fork and use the fork to drive the seal.
I've used this method a couple of times now. Works.
