*No longer for sale* 2014 RSV4 Track Bike w/ clean title and current reg
Decided to part it out, parts will be listed in the parts section
2014 RSV4 RR APRC Track Bike
7,916 miles
clean title
current street reg (just renewed in Nov)
$8,000
Pictures here.
I was planning on doing one more season on this bike before upgrading, but got an opportunity to jump on a 2019 RSV4 Factory. My original plan was to pull the main goodies off and sell this as a more basic track bike, or street conversion project. But seeing if anyone on here wants as is since I won't have time to anything on it for at least a month or two.
Upgrades:
- IMA Billet Adjustable Triples (this is a full triple, not just top clamp. Offset at -1, includes the other spacers)
- Ohlins NIX30 cartridges in the front
- Ohlins TTX GP shock
- Ohlins steering damper
- Factory velocity stacks
- Aprilia Race ECU w/ Factory race map
- IRC Autoblipper
- OEM upgraded Brembo 330mm front rotors (only 2 days on them)
- Carbon Loraine CL60 pads (only 2 days)
- Lightec chain adjusters
- Woodcraft clip-ons and rearsets
- Hindle exhaust
- Dunlop slicks ready for the early season (soft front, medium rear)
Also comes with:
- complete stock forks (the upgraded set on bike are a different set)
- stock OEM triples
- stock shock
- stock exhaust
- OEM quick shifter
- stock (non-race) ECU
- probably some other useful stuff I'm forgetting
- The ignition has been zip tied under the dash, it is still intact and functional. It could be added back to the stock triples if running that. Or IMA has an ignition holder. Comes with both keys.
This bike runs great. It was last ridden at Chuckwalla over Thanksgiving weekend. The valves were adjusted about 2k miles ago, and suspension was serviced towards the end of the summer.
Issues:
- Seat and tail: As seen in the pics the seat pan is currently unpainted. It's also got the stock tail fairings on it that have been rattle can'd black. I didn't like the tail section that came with the fairing set so used that setup. Never got around to ordering a different one. It's kind of ugly, so maybe something to clean up.
- The tank has a scuff on the right side, could easily be covered by a tank slider if wanted. The original tank was red, I bought this black tank as seen.
- I pulled the blue vinyl off the nose because it had a lot of rubber marks, same with the belly pan. The belly pan could use a respray since I didn't clear coat it the first time and the paint chipped off. I will likely just pull the vinyl off the side panels, unless requested to re-wrap with the same vinyl.
- On my last few days I noticed a small coolant leak. Traced this to a failure of one of the OEM clamps or hoses. Bike comes with a set of Samco hoses and clamps that I haven't had a chance to put on. It's a pretty easy job that was only my list to do before the season starts.
Staying with me:
- Brembo RCS17 master cylinder. Most people like the RCS19 anyway. Will have the OEM MC instead.
- Bursig stand nylon sleeve
$8000
At some point I'm going to pull off all the fancy stuff and make it a basic track bike (probably at $6k), then sell all the upgrades separately. If you are interested in those you can let me know, but that will be later. I have a couple bikes to build and just moved, so don't really have time to make part swaps at the moment.
Won't really be entertaining offers as I would actually prefer to sell it all separately, so this is the price I'm willing to sell it as it sits now. However, if you are planning on converting this to a street bike, and don't want the track fairings I'll knock some money off and keep those.
