My celebratory burnout was a little early, I guess. :burnout
So bummed that I had to leave for work, but glad that I got to see everybody that came down to the library afterwards.
I posted this in the other thread:
Holy crap. After coming to these things for 9 years or so, it's great to see the old faces... kind of like krakens coming up from the depths to check out the new squids!
I remember when we would get off work form the moto shops, eat/drink/hang at Hukialu and make fun of the "internet nerds" that met up at Family. And look at our family now! It was awesome being able to shake hands and hug my way around the room... literally. Over the years I've met, lived with, rode with, worked with, fought with, partied with, played with and fucked with so many BARF'ers that I can't imagine what being motorcyclist in the Bay Area would be without BARF
oh yeah. Winning the trackday was pretty cool too
good thing I did a celebratory burnout before I left for work.
It was great seeing everybody that made it down to Bender's after. For real. I was bummed that I had to leave the party, so when everybody showed up, it really made my night. It seemed like the drivers were drinking water, the moto peeps were sticking to PBR only (no shots) and nobody forgot their helmets.
