Going to adjust the valves in my 01GSXR1 and I see they use a 7.5mm diameter shim. Hot cams sell the 7.48mm shim for most 250 4stroke dirt bikes. Question is.... Can I use the Hot Cams shims to adjust my valves? (less than a .001 in differance) Thanks in advance for any info.

Tonight at Stockton she had a crash trying to avoid another rider who was down and crashed. Matt said its a sprain and she is already in an air cast. She has a race at Road Atlanta in a month. Praying for a speedy recovery! Sprains can be worse than breaks! Get well fast!!

Anyone headed out to Sand Hill for Friday night under the lights? Supermoto's, great place to practice some dirt turns without berms, and they run TT also with a few small jumps. Mainly you see the XR100/CRF150's but it is open to big bikes too...

After bolting back on the 17"s for this weekend, I noticed an extremely loud clicking noice from valve cover. Thought it was the auto de-compression since the spring was weak, but found this under an intake valve retainer.... Here is the broken inner valve spring next to the good one. Here...
