    Helmet Dilemma II

I usually wear an Arai VX Pro helmet on the street. The other helmet thread got me thinking about upgrading my 20 yo Arai RX7RR4 full face street helmet that I never wear. It looks like that helmet is no longer available. What Arai helmet replaced the RX7?

Driving in SF after a 17 year absence.

I've had to drive in SF the last couple of months after not driving in SF for 17 years. It's a lot more congested. Pedestrians are way more clueless walking with their eyes glued to their smartphones. Stepping off of curbs without looking at all and it takes them twice as long to cross the...

People using cell phones to record concerts

It fucking drives me crazy when I'm at a concert and the people in front of me hold up their phones to film the concert. It blocks my view, the glare of the screen is annoying. Shirley, I can't be the only person annoyed by this. Why can't they be in the moment and enjoy the show...

The Man in the High Castle-POTENIAL SPOILER ALERT

Just finished watching the 2 seasons that are out. Started slowly but it hooked me in. The only thing I didn't understand was happening with the Japanese trade minister existing in a parallel universe where he seems to be existing in a real 1962 or 1963 or where he's existing in 1962 or 1963...

RAVE: Radio Shack Phone Charging Cord Warranty

Radio Shack phone charging cords never last more than 6 months for me. They're about $18.00-$20.00. Last time I bought one I mentioned the short life of the cord. Clerk told me I could get an extended warranty for $3.00 more. A one time exchange only. WTF I figured, it cuts the cost of the...
