    The Harley Pan America Thread

It's here--the Harley Davidson Pan America. This is a bold (and overdue) move from HD. I like it! The marketing department definitely earned their paychecks with this video. Bring on the love and/or the hate! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF3pBM4eViE

Shoei Hornet X2 Medium (Like New)

I bought this Hornet X2 from an eBay seller and can't return it. My NEOTEC 2 is a Medium so I thought this would work. It doesn't--it's too tight for me so it's got to go. I've worn it on one ride that lasted about an hour and the pinlock has been installed on the shield. Otherwise it's...

    Coast Road? (Big Sur)

In doing a map recon, I came upon Coast Road in Big Sur. The north end starts right above the Bixby Creek Bridge and the south end connects to Hwy 1 at Andrew Molera State Park. Have any of you ridden it? Is it big bike friendly? Technical? Is it even open?

    Hwy 146/ Pinnacles Nat'l Park

According to Google Maps, there's a gap in Hwy 146 in the middle of Pinnacles National Park and what looks to be a dirt trail called "Old Pinnacles Trail{ connecting the two paved sections of highway. Can that rail be ridden? Or is it for hikers only?

    CJ Degrees?

Based on what I've read here and from talking to others, it seems that CJ degrees may not be the best choice for those wishing to get into law enforcement. I can appreciate how it might be a waste of time and money if you don't turn out to be a good candidate or have background/psych issues...

Does Caltrans take claims for damage caused by roads?

So I rode to work yesterday and when I parked, I took a moment to admire my bike. That's when I saw it--staring me straight in the face was a dent in my front rim. I hit a pothole on I-80 the other day that was particularly jarring. And yes, I know to avoid potholes, but sometimes shit...

    NewB here

Hi all...just wanted to introduce myself. I'm stratslingr77 and recently converted over to sport bikes from Harleys. Now don't get all judgemental on me--I'm a young clean-cut professional, not your stereotypical biker....just liked Harleys but quickly outgrew my bike and grew a little tired...
