My schedule just "opened up" for Sunday December 6th (truth - wife has a cookie bake and wants me out of the house :p ). So rain permitting, I plan to ride 84 to Mines to Del Puerto Canyon. Leave Fremont 10AM, get to Patterson at lunch time. Corral Hollow & Tesla on the way back.

How many miles do you get on your typical sport bike front tire? I have Metzeler Sportec M1 on my SV650. It looks like it's at the end of life ... ~8 years and 12,000 miles. I'm surprised that it's lasted so long. Is this typical?
