    Multimeter advice?

I'm in the market for another multimeter, hopefully around $50 bucks. Is there a model you'd recommend? Typical tasks include checking resistance, continuity and voltage. I've seen some automotive multimeters that'll check tach, dwell and even RPMs-- how useful are those features? thanks...

    Steering head Bearings

When you buy a set of ball bearings, do they come with all the races? I'm replacing my GSXR600 front end. I almost have all the parts to install it, but I'm missing a part of the upper bearing that goes between the top ball bearing and the dust seal. The outer seal is already in the stem...

Where to ride near Palo Alto

I just got my pocketbike running. I really don't like the idea of terrorizing my neighbors too much, are there local meets somewhere? I read about what happened to the Sunnyvale spot... My first ride was cut short due to a lean fuel condition...but my second ride was a blast.

Parts Question -- What's up with EBay

I've bought several sets of front forks on eBay, and i've been wondering why many of the listings there offer the forks and the lower triple and the stem -- but not the upper triple? Are people saving the top triple for some reason? Do parts stores separate the upper triple to make more money...

How to remove race tail foam padding?

I need to repair the fiberglass tailsection from a GSXR 600. It uses a foam pad instead of the stock seat. I've left it out in the sun, and hit the padding with a hair dryer to weaken the adhesive, but it's stuck on there pretty good. Any suggestions?

    GSXR and Suzuki Front Brake

I was reminded by Harpo's ad for his Arclight GSXR about reading that several years ago people were swapping out their 6-pot brakes for 4-pot binders... Anyways, the Arclight bike has RF900/4-pot nissin dealies found on the 1988-1992 or so GSXRs-- instead of the tokiko brakes, (4-pot or 6-pot)...

    SV650 with r6 fairing

I spent the weekend building a fairing stay for my SV to fit the r6 fairing. First i thought, I had to use the pre-drilled holes and cut/bend/weld the fairing stay to reach those holes. Then i realized why not just drill new holes in the fairing. I remember mackystingray doing the same...
