Best mount for a Flip video recorder???

Looking for suggestions on the best way to mount a Flip video recorder on a bike (forward facing). I'm hoping that someone here has a resource on some sort of universal mount with suction cup or any other bright idea. The model I have is the Ultra HD.

    11 year-old lays down 1:21's at Streets

Peter Lenz laid down a string of 1:21's at the Streets of Willow on Tuesday riding his RS125 at the Coderace program. He's 11 years old and always takes his stuffed toy, a dinosaur named "Diny". Peter usually feels better if Diny is propped up on a fence where Diny can watch Peter ride. Two...

Starlane 3R GPS timer help needed

I recently picked up a Starlane GPS 3R timer. Works great BUT, I can not get the bluetooth connection established to my laptop, or any other computer. This is despite taking it to two "computer guy" friends, using 3 different computers. Anyone have experience with this unit, specifically getting...

    Young racers

Spent some time at Fontana this weekend at the mini races. These young racers get along really well and some of them are downright fast. It's good to see the parents getting involved and giving all that great support to their kids.

How to wear out your knee puck in one turn

The director of the Superbike School in Europe coaches Thomas Luthi in the MotoGP 250 class and he told me that Thomas wore his knee puck down to the velcro in this one save. Thomas gave him the puck and it's hanging up on the office wall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9ZYP4A7Mr8

In the days before traction control...

One of my favorite old school shots. Eddie Lawson coming out of the last turn at Laguna in 1982. He was pitching it sideways almost every lap during the superbike race.

    MotoGP tire pressures

I was at Laguna in early July and some tech guys from Michelin France were there doing recon for the race later that month. They had a strange contraption that takes imprints of the track surface. Sort of looks like a lawnmower. They run it across the track on the racing line and it gathers data...

One fingered braking on Moto GP bike

Did anyone else notice the on-board footage of Casey Stoner at the last GP? It looked like he was using only one finger to get that Duc slowed down from 200mph for the first turn.

Do AMA pros go to the Superbike School?

For sure. Josh Herrin attended the California Superbike School at VIR and shortly afterwards got his best AMA Supersport finish (2nd place at Laguna Seca in July).

Where can I get a louvered pit board?

I'm trying to find a particular type of pit board. Needed is the kind that has sliding tabs on the side that are moved up and down to display different numbers. It has somewhat of a louvered appearance. I searched and was only able to find the kinds that use replaceable cards. Anyone know...

Elena Myers picts @ Superbike School

Elena attended the California Superbike School as well as the Coderace program. As expected she was flying and won both Coderace competitions. The other racers took it pretty well despite being beaten by a 13 year old girl.

    Hijack zone

On a recent trip to South Africa, I snapped a photo of this roadside sign. Many motorists carry guns in their cars and some cars are fitted with (I'm not kidding) flamethrowers that shoot out the side in the face of the would-be car jacker.
