Very nice scenery right now as well, with the white frosting of snow still remaining in the peaks. Alpine lake was ice free on day one, Mosquito lake is 50/50 water on road side of the lake..Ice on opposite side of the lake. Streams running full and nice. Everything is nice :thumbup...

There is a stretch on the East slope just after Mosquito lake.. more specificly between upper Pacific creek bridge and Cad corner...That is shocking dirty. Fine for four wheels, but.. risky city for two. Do-able with intense attention..but...that also relies on experience in those conditions...

Cycle Specialties...On Carpenter, close to Honda Kawasaki of Modesto. Sells BMW, Triumph, Husky. OMG what a pro interior layout. Didn't talk to anyone or have any idea how business is done... But that is a place to check out, if in the mood to see these bikes.

This should be a fun to watch, and easy to get to from the Bay Area, destination. Sunday's class A event starts at 10 AM lasts till about 4:00 I think. Turn in at gas station, go on in, just past Lodge, and it's to the right.
