    Roadsmart Front

Roadsmart front, standard 120/70/17 size. Came brand new with 690 Duke I bought a couple weeks back. SCC mounted it 2 weeks ago as front was shot. Don't like them, especially on a motard style. Pulled off this week, 200-250 miles on it. 50 dollars if anyone needs it.

    Thought about riding Alaska?

Got an email that Phil from www.AKRider.com is making a California swing, most likely to get away from the cold, long nights of Alaska. He will be making a couple stops in area bike shops to discuss Alaska rides, as well as his other trips on different continents. He's a great guy and really...

    Minimum passing distance?

Didn't find anything in my search, so wanted some leo's thoughts (just like every other thread here, eh?). Say, while in the commute late on 101 as an example, yesterday at 6:30ish am traffic is moving pretty well. Occasionally coming up on a slowish moving car, I refuse to split at those high...

    Alaska part deux

Headed north up the Haul road constructed to get equipment to the Prudhoe bay oil station and maintain the pipeline. Stopped in the circle for a couple of pics of the trusty KLR. Last night of camping, on the Kaleetna river between Anchorage and Denali with McKinley in the background, it's...

    Little Alaska trip

So, been doing a week+ trip with friends since 94, this year we decided to explore some new areas as we've been everywhere from New Mexico to North Dakota to central BC and all roads in between, so flew up to Anchorage and rented bikes from Phil at AkRider. Only did 2k miles but about 500 of...

SRAD 600, TL-S front brake system

Pulled from my TL a while ago, cleaning up some parts and making room. Both Front 4 piston calipers, stock (rubber, crappy) lines, m/c and reservior. 50 dollars for everything or they're going to ebay...not a huge demand I'm sure..but somebody must need some.

    Summit Road, 5 pm

You will not live long riding like that. The double yellow is not a motorcycle lane, especially with heavy traffic going both ways and your bike riding the center of the road passing people going south. You are also very fortunate you did not scratch my car as you were pulling your idiot...

    FU Thieves

Three friends rode all the way down from Seattle for the GP, only to have some PIECE OF SHIT pry up a seat on one of their bikes and steal two helmets at the lower parking lot at Laguna. When they FINALLY got to the Arai tent saturday late they weren't the only people there having to buy...

Rant! To Squid on 280 this morning

Yes, that is a mighty fast gixxer 1k you have, everyone that saw you on it was QUITE impressed as they are so difficult to find. Yes, I'm sure EVERYONE in the cars around was VERY impressed you could do standup wheelies and weave through traffic at will. No, I wasn't one of them. Despite the...

    Need New Helmet

My RX-7 is just too old, though it's never been down...time to get a new one. I don't want to pay for fancy paint since I paint my own stuff, so am looking for preferably white, but any color considered. Medium, rx7, used is ok, but needs to be made recently. (unbelievably, I've had people...

    yea...ok

I guess I"ll do one of these threads. Howdy. My name is Jason, and I'm an alcoho... wait...wrong forum ;) Slowly creeping back into the track scene hopefully. Been riding since 92, raced Willow Springs 95-97 (then got married), been racing District 36 enduro's for the last 4 years. Go on...

    Bike Auctions?

Was wondering if anyone knew anything about any local bike auctions and availability to the public? I'm looking for a bit of a project, specifically a 2000+ gsxr 750 for a new track bike, and actually think it would be fun to rebuild something that's been busted up. would enjoy the work, and...

    2000+ Gsxr 750

Want to take a break from hitting trees all the time at District 36 enduro's, so I'm going to get back to the pavement. Looking for 2000+ gsxr750 street is ok as long as it's in good shape so I can sell the plastics.

    2000+ Gsxr 750

Time to get back to the pavement side of racing and possibly take a break from the Enduro's. My TL isn't exactly a great trackbike (though, it is now a great streetbike) so I'm looking for a gsxr 750, 2000+ model year. Sorry, don't want to go back to 600's, and 1k's look like too much work...
