    Zero SR/F

Contra Costa Motosports have the Zero SR/F in stock and are allowing test rides. I got the lowdown from Lance then headed out on 680N. I've never ridden an electric bike (I have driven a Tesla S and Model 3) so the first thing I noticed was how quiet it was. The next thing is that the seating is...

What to do with old helmets?

BARF'ers: I have a Bell Revolver, about 7 years old, that I recently replaced. I know the current thinking is that helmets older than 5 years should be discarded. But, it seems like a waste to throw out a perfectly good helmet. Just curious, what do y'all do with your old helmets? BB

    Sportster caution

I took apart the Screamin' Eagle air cleaner for its 20K-mile service on my Sportster, cleaned the filter, and was about to reinstall the filter when I saw this... WhoA! I don't think it would have fallen into the intake, the screw is too long, but it sure gave me some worries. Anyway, check...

Borrow charger for LiFe Ballistic Battery

Last week, I had some issues with my taillight that caused my Ballistic LiFe Battery to drain out. I can't get my bike starter to turn-over and my headlight flickers when I turn on the bike. I only have a battery tender, not a charger, for non-Lithium batteries. Does anyone have a LiFe battery...

MotoShop - the place to go!

Just wanted to thank MotoShop for the good work they are doing. I went in last weekend for a 15K-mile service for my Sportster and worked with Jake the mechanic. Jake was very helpful, showing me the steps, and letting me complete the work mostly on my own. It was a good learning experience, fun...

    48 from Oakland

Hi Folks: Friends told me about BARF when I started riding again, after a 20-year break, and I didn't feel comfortable signing up. After 3 years of getting my riding skills back, I'm joining the conversation. I still won't be able to catch all you sport riders, but I can enjoy the view as you...
