I'm so stoked. I got my hands on a copy of "The Dawn Riders" and John got permission for us to use the SFMC clubhouse. Everyone is welcome to attend. The folks at the SFMC are friendly as can be and the price of admission is Free 99. :laughing Let nothing stop you from the fun times!
SFMC Clubhouse 2194 Folsom @ 18th Street.
We'll be arriving at 7:30, movie starts at 8:00. I'm thinking it might be fun to add pizza to the mix so holler if you like the idea of some New York style pizza from DNA along with your fountain beverages. That way I can order the right number of pizzas. If you want pizza, bring some cash and if you want fountain beverages, don't forget to tip the nice guy manning the fountain. Proceeds from soda sales will support moto racing!
This movie is about the early days of the Sunday Morning Ride, which still happens after over 60 years! :wow So come check it out. I've invited some folks I know that do the ride, and have been for many years, to come and watch with us. arty
Hey Vintage Cafe-ers!
The famous Sunday Morning Ride in Marin County
has been going on for over 60 years! :ride
They made a documentary about it called
"The Dawn Riders"
and Two Wheel Tramp has obtained a DVD copy ...

John, thank you for letting us use your space. It's wonderful. Tell the rest of your club I appreciate their hospitality, too. That was a great time. I'm really happy. I got to meet some OG riders last night. :hail
Who: BARFers and friends
What: Come watch another cool moto movie at the SFMC Clubhouse. This time we're showing "On Any Sunday" - the original one. :cool
When: 12/10/16 @ 7:00 PM. Movie starts at 7:45
Where: 2194 Folsom Street at 18th
Why: Entry to the movie is FREE. Entry to the clubhouse is FREE. We may order some pizza again, which unfortunately won't be free. :laughing Did I mention they have a fountain so you can have a soda while you watch the flick?
In the spirit of the season (love, goodwill towards your fellow man, etc.) we will have a donation jar out and we will be collecting money for Glide Memorial Church's Soup Kitchen if you wish to contribute a few bucks. They feed over 2,000 people per day. :wow
How much?: Again, this is totally free. Our goal is to get together, have some fun and raise some money for charity.
Thanks for reading, hope to see you there. :love
August 21st is The Eclipse Run. Looking for Hotels in Madras Oregon. Apparently, they have been booked for this event for 5 years. He called a KOA 40 miles away. They are fully booked. Then he called a Motel 6 60 miles away. They have a 3-night minimum for this event. What does that mean? That means the eclipse runs from the Pacific to the Atlantic, so your Road Captain is open to suggestions. Sounds like we'll be sleeping in the dirt around a campfire on some public land in eastern OR ... arty
I booked a campground at Crater Lake last year. 170 miles & 3 hours away from Madras. Plan on getting on the road at 6:00 am to drive up. Watch the eclipse and then drive back to Crater Lake. Once in a life time event for me. We will be in our truck camper for this trip.
All awesome stuff John.
Pasadena 110!! arty

Back tire - Isn't that a Gripster? or sometimes referred to as a "Slipster".
Appropriate I suppose, for a tracker. :laughing
