Steep Ravine and Thee Parkside Cruise-In ...

Went for a camping trip on the '73 Tiger ...





Steep Ravine ... camped under the trees on top of the
bluff above the Pacific on the west side of Hwy 1 between
Mill Valley and Stinson Beach ...

Under the trees above the ocean ... vintage-pup approves ... :laughing

The view south ...



... and north ... you can rent the cabins, too ...

We watched the tide and the shipping go in and out, and then headed
back to San Francisco ...



It was the correct Wednesday, so we rolled by Thee Parkside
to check out the monthly Cruise-In ...



They close parking on the street for Cruise-In motorcycle parking ... :thumbup

The People's Choice went to this cool Knuckle-head ...







... some of the usual suspects, and some cool gas tanks ... :ride

... lots of Sportsters ...

... guess the monthly Cruise-In starts around 6pm ...
seemed like most folks were getting some food
from Thee Parkside ... lots of tater-tots ....

... that was a fun trip ... :ride

... was working weekends at the time, so I was able
to get a reservation during the week on short notice ...

... there is actually a campsite in the Presidio right in
San Francisco that we're going to try to get a reservation
for this summer ... the reservations open by
phone on February 9th ... arty

... most of these reservation-only campgrounds right here
in the Bay Area have group campsites ... I'd love to
make an effort to get a group-site reservation at Kirby Cove
this year ... :cool
