This. Although I already answered your poll, I think you should clarify WHY you are asking.
Do YOU want to be here is the better question. That should give you the answer of whether or not it is worth it to you to put up with whatever is making you question it.
My outside take on your modship (simply from observation). You adhere to the strict terms of the TOS and believe that exceptions to it only lead to chaos. Which occasionally they do. I will say you have been more even keeled in the recent past.
I understand the position actually. I don't always agree and occasionally with a family exceptions need to be made. That however leads to calls of favoritism. You can't really win. Whatever your take you are bound to make both friends and enemies.
That said, I am glad your voice is there, and I am glad that others are there as well. That dichotomy which I am sure leads to some arguments... ultimately works.
As for your contributions to barf outside of your role as a moderator. They are indeed valuable and appreciated.

I honestly thought this was about something in your professional life, Tim. I answered the poll accordingly before coming back to read the recent posts. I know that I poke fun at you now and then, but I really like your mod style. Your "all business" persona makes it that much more hilarious when you bust the occasional joke. If you do go, BARF will surely be worse for it. I am going to refrain from further comment, as I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

Tim... you are an incredible asset to this forum, and to the motorcycling community. While you may be strict, sometimes that's really needed around here. I hope you stay.
I'm also hoping to hell that BARF isn't being sold... if it changes, and becomes more like some of the other motorcycle forums I've visited, I expect my participation here will be what it is there...

Ha, that implies a facade, but I'm pretty sure stuff is well known. Regardless of that, why wouldn't you stay? Why wouldn't any of us stay? Why wouldn't folks at least get their toes wet before making a decision? Anything less seems childish, but maybe there is a perspective I'm missing?

From what I gather, something is changing so you are considering leaving BARF. We don't know what is changing though. Given the lack of information, there is only one piece of advice I can give. Don't fart upwind of someone whom you don't want to smell it.
