I wanted to add, i def think you need the o2 dongle even when running the PCV. Ive run the bike with the pcv and the o2 sensor hooked up and with the dongle hooked up and the low end runs noticeably better with dongle. I know the pcv instructions say you don't need to run the dongle but i think the ecu fights the pcv when it gets the "real" o2 input.
Just thought it'd help someone out that was trying different maps. Might make you revisit some of the ones you didn't think were any good if you weren't using the dongle.
Interesting.
When I had my 2018 701, the fuel dongle did nothing for me. My fueling when in closed loop was pretty much spot on. No lean spots, no hesitation. I knew specifically the PCV was for the open WOT mapping in which helped a lot with the proper map.
I installed a PCV on my 2019 690 and this time Rottweiler also included the dongle for free so I installed it. Again, I didn't notice any difference in closed loop mode. My bike was pretty much spot on from the factory. But with Rottweiler's latest OTS map, the bike runs really_really good. I'm very happy!
/pic for attention.
