so i wanna paint my bike like a japanese zero.green with a big red circle just like ww2 planes, do u guys think people would get offended by it? u know, pearl harbor and stuff.

If it looks cool do it. Its okay to offend a few people and I doubt anyone would be offended to the point they would say anything.
Doubtful anyone who served in that theatre is still driving, just don’t park in the assisted living places.

I think it's acceptable to do a zero paint scheme. Fwiw the red dot is still used on modern Japanese defense force aircraft as is the iron cross on German Luftwaffe.
I think the biggest reason to avoid doing it is that it will kill resale value. I've never seen a custom paint job that I wanted to pay money to own...

You should be fine. Just don't go overboard with a retro-WWII scheme with rivets and combat kills markings. The limited edition rc213v-s has a rising sun, and I doubt most would even bat an eye.
