Just curious you mentioned it was like 80k or something like that. Would you mind sharing general breakdown? Was wondering what were the costliest parts.

I am just about $63K now

Plans $1,800

Cabinets $23,000

Floor remove old tile and install new tile, demo walls, drywall, and backsplash. Paint all the walls and ceiling. $15,000 My tile contractor did all this work for one price.

Countertops $8,000

Plumbing gas for stove and water for the ice maker, $500. I did all the work.

Electrical $1,200 parts only. I did all the work

Stove, Fridge, Dishwasher, Hood, and Microwave $13,000 I did all the install. Except for the Wolf range that came with free install and an extra year of warranty if they install. The damn thing weighs 500 pounds.

City Permit. $930.:mad

The last appliance installed today. Only tile backsplatch to go. Will post final pictures when finished. But we have a working kitchen tonight.:thumbup

That stove is awesome. You can go outside and watch the dials on your gas meter twirl around!

Very nice.

My daughter's 1950's kitchen is laid out very similarly but they decided to stay with the existing tile and just get new appliances and, sadly, the sink.

To take out the sink would destroy the existing tile and a farmhouse sink wouldn't work due to the proximity of the dishwasher to the sink.
