Seeking advice for a 87 NiteHawk

Hi all! I'm new to the forum and the motorbike world, so forgive me if what I saw next is blasphemy.

I was gifted a 1987 Nitehawk from a long gone roommate (with no title and my first mistake) thinking I could fix it up and take it to the DMV (the VIN is at least clean). However, I got injured climbing and the fixer-upper funds for the bike went with it.

My dilemma: I can't sell it because no title, so I'm looking for a junkyard (preferably in/near Oakland 15 mile radius) to give it to. Does anyone know of a yard that takes bikes? Most I've called only take auto.

Someone on here will take it off your hands as long as it doesn't come up stolen in the DMV database.

Yup, post it in the classifieds here with all the details. If it is in nice shape you might even get a little.money too.

For sure. Find out if it's clean in the DMV database and if any fees are due. Or let the buyer do that. But surely there will be someone who wants it.
