question about a ticket

I got a ticket from the CHP. On the ticket itself there are boxes that read:
Speed Approx.
PF/Max Spd.
Veh Lmt.
Safe
Special

I assume that the "PF/Max Spd" is short for Prima Facia or Maximum Speed?
What does the "Veh. Lmt." box mean? On my ticket it is blank.
And last, what is the "Special" box mean? The Officer wrote 99 in it.

I do not want to go in to my ticket in detail on the board as I've not yet decided whether or not to contest it and for all I know the Officer that wrote it may be a member here.
In any case the Officer was polite and proffesional in his dealings with me. Short of giving me a warning he could not have been nicer.

vehicle limit is generally used when you are driving a vehicle that has a limit lower than the posted. For example, an SUV hauling a trailer in a posted 65mph is limited to 55mph.

Dunno about special. I guess if they check that box, you are special

The special box is usually used for tracking purposes. 99 usually means a radar citation. Other codes are used for HOV overtime and such.
