One forum I visit has All post view. Yeah, you can see all 700 pages of posts on one long page if you want.

Can we have it?

I doubt budman would go for it. Bandwidth costs money, and people would click it just because it's there.

You can go in to your profile and change it to show 1000 posts per page.

That's pretty much all for all but a select few threads.

I do this when searching for archive material.

I wouldn't want to set it to full view (or lots of) always. rodr makes a good point about bandwidth.

There are times here when I wanted to scroll a few posts (which here might be pages away) or just search for some text in the topic. Maybe tuning the view to be just right will do it.
