Hey Folks! Allen is accepting 2020 Stockton Lil 99 Membership renewal payment. Contact him for cost and payment arrangement.

Those that want to become a member can call too.

*Membership - any time track access (key to entrance gate). Exception is a private event or Fairgrounds are hosting a event. Scheduled Open Track Day cost is $30 ($40 non-members). Additionally, Racers discount for first race class entry (only at Stockton track).

Race Series: most of the races are held at Stockton. Dixon will also be on the calendar. Allen is looking to add Sonoma / Infineon to the 2020 Calendar too (TBD).

Do you know if there will be any track days this month?

Due to being winter, nothing on schedule. If you have a FB acct, join West Coast Mini Grand Prix for active chatter.

Or .....

- call and inquire with Allen if he or knows others that may / will be at the track on a day you have in mind.

- hook up with a member (anytime access).

- become a member ;)

I've been checking the Stockton Lil 99 FB but I myself don't have an account.

And I actually want to become a member of the track, I just want to do a few track days before I commit.

Any track members on here want to tow me around?

A great starter video, if you had not seen it already, Keith Codes Twist of the Wrist II. You can find it on YouTube. Fundamentally for track, but applies to street riding as well.

Otherwise, when you get to the track, inquire with Allen. He may point you out to someone to give you a tow around the track, and getting familiar. If this is your first time out, don't worry about going fast. Learn the layout, braking, acceleration and shifting points.

Safety for all, choose a consistent line throughout the coarse, be predictable, so that faster riders can observe / interpret your intentions, to getting around you safely. As you get more comfortable and confident, speed follows. Focus on being relaxed and have fun. Progression is key ;)

Thanks for the tips. I actually read Twist of the Wrist and watched the video a few years back.
I plant to just learn the track, and get comfortable with the environment. I hope I'm not just an obstacle on the course for others..

Thanks again!

Folks,

Due to Stay At Home mandate, both Stockton and Dixon has announced track closures. I have not heard anything about Infineon. But, I imagine it will be closed too. Once the mandate has been lifted, I will update accordingly.

Be Safe and be Healthy, everyone!
