Welcome to the AFM! If your WERA license is current, no NRS needed at t'all. We do our best to not have back to back races for any particular bike. It's a central point to why our schedule is arranged as it is. Look forward to seeing the big Duc run!

Brian's excellent with the Duc's on this coast. Great idea!

Well then I guess that is an endorsement of Formula Twins for 2021? I heard that a former Open Twin's champ bought a sweet TL1000R to ride in 2021...who doesn't want to see that??

List of weird electrical gremlins for me last year included:

Jet Prime Ignition Bypass went bad
Electronic ABS Delete went bad
Front Wheel Sensor went bad
Intermittent cut out traced to a short somewhere in the wiring harness.

Hoping for a gremlin free 2021 :)

Good lord! That sounds like Duc life to me... I’m with you. Hoping on a smooth 2021, knock on wood

Hey Dmitrij, looking forward to hearing another big Panigale at the track. I'm a 600-er myself, but I always enjoy watching some loud twins.

I'd recognize that Road Atlanta front straight from your picture anywhere! I imagine your 1199 got pretty light in between 10b and 12!

Look forward to getting out there!

And yes, Road Atlanta was a blast coming off that back straight. Definitely had some pucker moments into 10 and wheeling under the bridge...

Welcome Maslov

Hey everyone,

New to the forum and soon AFM, but not new to racing.

Work relocated me from OH to Sac. I’ve been racing with WERA back east, and now look forward to joining AFM. I will probably still run a few WERA rounds and go back east for GNF... Did a few track days this past summer locally and can definitely get used to the weather! My rain tires have not been used once last season!

I’ve yet to deep dive into the rules, but was hoping to see what classes are available for HWT twin ( I run a Panigale 1199)? Also, any insight on being able to transfer my WERA license, or should I plan on attending a new racer school with AFM?

Look forward to meeting some of you on the track!

Your timing couldn't be better...please see the following post.
