Posting late as I have been out of town. Dixon Antique Motorcycle show and swap meet tomorrow and Saturday. Someone go and take pictures I can't make it this year.

... I had a spy there, showing his
1937 Indian Chief, trying to get 100 points ... arty

... I’ll post pics, but he got on an
airplane to Italy on Sunday to go
pick up his rental bike in Rome,
so it may be a couple weeks ...

... so, this was a national show, which is a big deal ... the only
one west of the Mississippi, so I'm told ... :ride

... Kalle submitted his '37 Indian Chief
to be judged ...

... he won a prize ... lost a 1/4 point for some electrical tape
showing up by the headlight and a 1/4 point for the lock nut on
his rear brake pedal being loose ... 1/4 point for something else ...
wound up with a 99.25-point bike ...
which is, I guess, 3/4 of a point from looking like it would
have on the showroom floor in 1937 ... :laughing

... getting the bike ready for judging involved black touch-up
paint and small brushes and steel wool to banish any rust ... arty

... some of the judging squad ... the fellow in
the yellow shirt is SFMC life member and famous
Indian guy, Red Fred ... the AMCA is always looking
for people willing to judge ... Kalle sez he signed up to be
a novice judge at this even and had fun ... :afm199
