I was talking with him yesterday and asked about his bike/knee. (for those how do not know, him and his buddy on an F4 crashed during a squid day 3 weeks ago) He said his knee is still hurting (he's still limping pretty good) and he suspects some ligament damage :eek his friend though is fine, less some road rash. He is having the frame staightened at this time. Total estimate $4500 :eek that will bring it back to how it was pre crash. I 'm not sure about the F4 but I haven't seen it around so I assume it's still down.

DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $4500, I would have never thought it would cost that much from the looks of it. I'd rather get another bike for that amount. Well, I hope they both get their bikes up and running and fully recover from their injuries.

I said the same thing, but he said he'd rather re-build it then use the $$ as a down on a new ride :rolleyes

To help out a fellow rider I'd sacrifice my 6E for $4500. Please just have him show up w/ the check and he can ride off that day. :D

He could probably find a bare frame w/ title on ebay for less. I've seen SV650 frames there for $500.

did he get his knee checked out by a doc? it looked bad the way he was limping. the guy on the F4, i heard, said he had some pain in his ribs? hope it's just bruising or something.

on our brief little chat, he mentioned he had his eye on a milleR. maybe he could put $ towards that. if not, i'd suggest ebay for some extra parts. they won't be in showroom condition. his bike had all the bling bling and looked real nice and clean. well used to anyway.

btw, get em to register on BARF! :D

holy shit that sucks...honestly 4500 bucks is alot more than the bike is worth..but then again thats not counting sentimental value. Good luck to the both of them.
