Looking for my old 2001 VFR800 in the Bay Area

Hi guys,

I am looking for my old VFR800, would love to speak with the current owner to see if I could purchase it back.

I bought it new in 2001, put 26,000 miles on it riding all over NorCal. Sold it in 2006 when my daughter was born. The buyer was a gentleman who lived in the Bay Area.

I have heard that in instances where people are trying to track down previously owned vehicles for re-purchase, they've used a private investigator. The PI can pull the DMV records, but they have to make contact with the current owner, they can't just hand over the info to you.
