ISP/Router Woes - cannot connect to 1 website

I cannot access my company website, like www.yamaha.com (not actually www.yamaha.com)...off and on, mostly off the past few months

There is only one website on the planet that "can't display" or gives me a TLS error message from every device on my home router, and that is my company website. I have tried every Android, Ipad, and PC I have, and either my ISP or Router is blocking the site.

I have ATT U-Verse and I verified with my neighbor, who has the exact same ISP, service, and hardware, that the site is accessible. So it's just me...!

Three hours on ATT tech support today and all I got was up-selling fiber.

It seems like I was transferred to a company, Tech-Connect, who claimed ATT is blocking the website and told me I need to contact "Smart Chat" but no detail on how to do so...

How should I approach this problem? Right now I want to dump ATT and just find another ISP, who will probably give me a cheaper rate and newer router.

But are there even choices? How do I fix this? I've been needing to access my company website (where I work).

You might see if going through a VPN works, to make sure it has something to do with routing.

Also it can be useful to use traceroute (tracert in Windows) to see whose router is the culprit.

Maybe they are using an old TLS encryption that is not supported anymore? I had that happen to me with some older server oSes I run and had to use the new chromium IE to get it to work. I think it was an update to IE11 that borked my stuff not sure what browser or OS you are using.

I forgot to mention, I did tracert before and it went a couple of hops then started timing out. The tech-connect said the site was probably blacklisted at a router level (maybe some else's router?)

Comcast had an ad for $39.

But then, it's working again today.

Having tracert time out isn't always a sign of something bad it just means that ICMP may be disabled on those routers. A lot of websites don't allow pings anymore.

I have yet to run into a website that is blacklisted on my ISP. I have seen where upload/download speeds have been throttled(this happened with my works webservice) but once we found it we got the ISP to turn that off.

Have you tried different browsers? Maybe do like Scott suggested and download a free VPN program and use it to see if it works for you then. Opera has a built-in VPN you can use for free.

The ISP's job is to make sure your traffic is sent through routers that work. Not escalating a failed traceroute is really crappy support in my book.

I was about to try a VPN. It was all devices on my network, PC, Android and ithings...

Then it started working the next day. This is the 3rd time it's been a problem since SIP started, and it seems to only be me.
