How not to do stoppies

saw those too.

1st was kinda funny though cause he was okay at the end.

2nd 1, i guess he gripped the brake too hard? he looked alright but who knows when the adrenaline is pumping. managed to do a 12 o clocker and a 360 w/o a rider though.

this is what i fear the most when i even think about doing stoppies.

anyone ever see the vid w/ 2 guys doing stoppies under an overpass and the yammie flips like it hit something or the tire blew out? almost hit the gix right next to him too. that freaked me out.

I hope I don't do that. Makes me not want to do stoppies anymore, but that is all I'm good at.

I know I know, my front end has always been able to lift without too much effort. Its just been the size of my nads, they're rather small when it comes to wheelies, I actually think I have ovaries when doing wheelies. :D :D I can get the front up and have with no problem, but to me a wheelie isn't a wheelie until you can atleast ride it out alittle. One day I will be like my HERO, DARTH PORT!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

the guy in the second clip looked as if someone jammed a stick in between the front spokes or something. He was rolling pretty fast down the road when slamming on that brake.

sorry for the late post on this thread, but those vids cracked me up and I must share my thoughts on this one:

"....so, class, what have we just learned about going 60 MPH on a motorcycle and grabbing a hand full of front brake???"

..........stick with the wheelies, 'cause if you start to go over backwards, you can always let off the gas and hit the back brake to bring the front end back to the ground!

just my $0.02.

Not as easy as said. I feel like I can just let of the front brake and come back down from a stoppie. As for wheelies, when about to go over I can never seem to remeber what to do, it is all so fast.
