Horace Posadas aka Hoho
Passed away on 5/10/19

Dear Members,

It is with a very heavy heart that I am letting you know we lost one of the best people of barf. Hoho passed after a long battle with cancer.
The man was gold in my book. A good soul for sure and fun to hang with. A gentleman to boot.
In his honor we are going to rename the Mid-Summer Magic Rally to the Hoho Magic Rally.
His magic touched many of us (specifically Rally Riders and lots of social events in person) and that magic will continue every time we go to Weaverville and for me probably all of them and more.

Godspeed Hoho :rip
Love ya man.

Such a good soul, he will be missed terribly. :(

He made the world a better place just by being himself. Grace, humility, and massive courage. He set a high bar. :cry

:rip

all I know is that I am a better person for having had Hoho in my life.
I will miss you friend.

:rose

The world is definitely a little more dim today. Seldom is there such a warm, genuine and gentle person as Hoho. I will carry with me until I die the many memories we had riding, shooting, eating ice cream and absinthe discussions. It's not fair that the truly good ones are taken so young.

Hoho had a superpower that only a very, very few have in this world; he had the gift of turning strangers into friends with only a few words. His warmth and kindness will be missed and (in part, thanks to Dennis's renaming of the rally) remembered for years to come. We are all so lucky to have known him in our own ways. Rest and ride in peace, Hoho.

HO HO was a man that really touched so many souls. It isn’t often that you meet someone that touches so many people. He really was a special person and he will be missed dearly. Godspeed HO HO :rip :ride

Hoho was just one of those guys that brings it all together. Always positive, always dependable, always happy...just a great person to have in your circle. I met him because of motorcycles but we shared a LOT of activities together, shotguns, karting, paintball, dinners, motogp watching, mowing down on sweets, no better guy to have in your corner for any of it. Friend to all of those who knew him, we'll miss you brother.

The world won't be the same without Hoho... :(

:rip Horace. It was always laughs and good times, don’t think I ever once saw or heard him grumpy. Super upbeat dude at every event, bar, ride, whatever. Always smiling.

I met HoHo and it made me want to BARF more.
