Hello fellow lovers of carbureted engines,
I recently added clip ons to my gen 1 SV650 and am struggling to reassemble the turn signal switch/choke cable lever. The problem is that the choke cable lever doesn’t stay put when I manipulate it, so the choke always goes back to being closed. I have a spring and a screw and some other small bits and pieces left over and I’m stumped as to how they all fit together. I've included pictures of the bottom and guts of the left switch assembly, which contains the choke lever, as well as the parts I have.
Sorry if this is a silly question - any and all help would be appreciated.
